Saying outrageous stuff to get people riled up is his shtick. One of his ilk, Arron Banks I think, basically said that they/alt-right/Brexit people deliberately say outrageous things to provoke a response.
Don't feed it. 
I do kind of suspect though, that when the history of all this gets written by future people they will point to the often histrionic/excessively emotional/OTT response of Liberals and 'the [soft] Left' to shock-showmen like Milo as having exacerbated the whole thing beyond what it is worth. |
