I have been interviewed for a new hagwon job in Daegu. It's called DALSOE POLY and it is a kindie-elementary. Has anyone taught there? Has anyone taught in other POLY schools? I understand that it is a large franchise with branches throughout Korea.
The interviewer seemed positive about this hagwon. She spoke about how lots of teachers had signed on for another year etc. However, I think I remember there had been some remarks on Dave's ESL about POLY before.
One thing I noticed is that while the recruiter said I would be working between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. I would in fact be there from 9 to 7 and perhaps slightly longer, and I don't want to be in a kindergarten that long, even for a somewhat higher salary.
What do you think?
