I will soon be moving to Jeju to start a new teaching job.

Can anyone tell me the most efficient and inexpensive way to move my household belongings down there? I don't have too much stuff. No couches or big beds.

Just a bookcase/computer desk arrangement, a kitchen table and chairs, a butcher block chef's table, 4 storage shelving racks.

Hopefully, this contract will include a re-location allowance.

You can take a bicycle or cars on the ferry. Get a Korean friend to drive you with his car on the ferry. Or just get many parcels and take them on board. I do not think they have a baggage limit- you should call the ferry though because I did not check it since 2015
