Hi!

I have a phone interview with a Korean University in a couple of days. I was wondering what I should expect to be asked or comment on during the interview. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could prepare for the interview?

I tried to access the information in the FAQ section but the links aren't working. The mods have posted a message saying that the section is temporarily unavailable.

Any advice or suggestions that you could give me are GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for your help in advance.

Make yourself at ease and do the interview nude.

Then you can remember and laugh at them if they turn you down.

- which theories/approaches have you used in teaching EFL?

- which theories/apporaches do you like best?

- what do you consider to be the major differences between child L2 and adult L2 acquisition?

- how do you deal with students who are unmotivated?

- what strategies do you use for teaching large classes *45 - 60 students?

- have you used multi-media in your presentations to your classes?

- what do you know about 'cooperative learning' techniques?

- how can you contribute or get involved in campus life and with the students at our school?

Very Happy Ahaa! Looking over my earlier list, you may be right. But you should definintely be prepared to answer both types of questions.

Also:

"Are you married?"

"Do you have a girlfriend"

"When will you marry?"

(Over the telephone) "Are you black?"
