| more info needed. There is Sogang Univ then there is the (in)famous SLP a kiddie hogwon "licensed by" Sogang that use curriculum devised by them but have a horrible reputation in some locations. |

| sogang university also has sub-departments with-in the university. some are good and some are not. sorry no details - my memory is foggy. |

Actually, they are supposed to use the Sogang University provided materials, but they use different teaching materials. Some Hi Kid's, Up And Away phonics and what not, but a lot of it is Oxford University Press and a list of other teaching materials not provided by the university...and yes; some locations are terrible, as rudyflyer mentioned. Diabolical in action and conduct. Not many good stories out there, and the few I have read are most likely posted by the very management.
You are taking a big risk if it is a 'kiddie' hakwon (and not the actual university) you are considering. Post again with specifics - location/university/hakwon?? |
