I need a cheap hotel in Osaka. I need it for tonight March 7, 2005.

Also, I want to have a beer tongiht with some other foreigners. Any suggestions?

Please give details on how to get to your suggestions because I cant speak a lick of Japanese.

if it's not too late, go to the tourist info counter at the JR NAMBA RAIL STATION. they have a map of business hotels.
some rooms go as low as 5,000. the counter help will even check availablility for you.

i stayed in a sweet business hotel two blocks east of Shinsaibashi...and about 3 blocks north of the canal. It is a very thin dark brown building with a sliding glass door. very inconspicuous.
of course i can't remember the name, but it was 5,200 free breakie, big room with kitchenette.

also turned out to be 10 minutes walk from the can. embassy if that's where you're headed.
