Does anyone know any sites that would help me conduct a discussion class for both lower level and upper level students. I am looking for interesting topics and questions that will keep the class interested. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

You don't say for what age, you are teaching.
For adults I use
Talk Your Head off and Write too.
How indepth you get will depend on the level of your student.
For Children, I use Easy True Stories and More Easy True Stories.
This is what works for me. Now you know. |

I think it's kind of hard to find web sites with topics for conversations, but there are a lot of great books. One that I use for my middle school kids is Penny Ur's 'Discussions that Work'. Lots of the discussions are geared for intermediate to high level students so it would probably be a good resource for you.
The english-to-go website has prepared lessons based on Reuter's articles and they usually provoke discussion. You can check it out for free, but there is a membership fee.
