I saw an advertisment for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre on SuperAction for June 23. I didn't catch the broadcast time. As B horror goes, is this worth watching? |

IS it the original or the remake from 2003?
THe original can be bought here on DVD for a couple of thousand won... it's a classic!
The remake was pretty good, I thought. THe actress in it is very, very hot.

The remake is very very good and Jennifer Biel(s) is very hot. Both are good very good films. |

One of the better remakes of films out there, I loved the filter that the director used, it made you feel as if you were watching a movie made in the 70's |

I rather liked the remake too...
I thought some of the creepiest scenes didn't even involve Leatherface,
but just the locals themselves... The greasy spoon diner, the sheriff, the family... Yikes.
The scene with the evil Texas sheriff screaming at the kid with the glasses in the mud (outside the house, was it?) was intense! And they had to worry about a dude with a chainsaw and a mask made out of their dead buddy's skin on top of that!! |

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre II is good. Cheesy, but good. |

Cheesy... very very cheesy!!
I like horror and I like comedy, but mixing the two can ruin it altogether! |

The English subtitles are atrocious, though. I turned them on because the sound quality is poor, and...man. Every second sentence it seems is subtitled incorrectly.
