In another post it is mentioned that a recruitment agency here is wary of
recommending British citizens to potential school employers because of a
failure in attitude on the part of Her Majesty's subjects. Here is a Top Ten
list of hypothetical attitude problems of British teachers in South Korea:

10. The distaste for kimchi
09. The disappointment in the lack of restaurants which serve potatoes
08. The demand that 5pm classes be cancelled for a spot of tea
07. The insistence that they are placed 10 minutes away from a fish and
chips joint
06. The fear that their wet umbrellas will be stolen if left in a bin by the
front door of a hagwon
05. Their refusal to neutralize their accent upon the request of the boss
04. The complaint that there are no double-decker buses in Korean cities
03. The demand that Korean co-teachers refrain from translating 'God
Save the Queen' into the Korean
02. Their insistence that Korean students address them as master or mis-
tress
01. The demand that the school provides uncensored internet access to
UK fetish sites

Perhaps this biased agency had these attitude lapses in mind. Cool

11. The demand that Canadians and other common trash stop addressing them as equals.

I am British and if these staunchly British people do exist I would love to meet them. Very Happy

And no wonder! Just look what that "bar-stard" Sparkx did to my beautiful pink-with-white-tassles umbrella!
