JacktheCat's personal recommendations:
Xanadu Travel for all round best service, good travel advice, and help with visas.
Unique Travel for best ticket prices and ticket availability. |

I live in Seoul and used Kangsan travel. They expressed the tickets to me free of charge, and got me the lowest fare, and the best times for my trip to china.
I talked to Linda
Great I definately would use them again |

I've just used Kangsan to book my flight to Thailand - really pleased with the service and the price was very reasonable - two thumbs up with linda too, very nice to deal with.
Can anybody recommend a good travel agent IN bangkok?
Cheers |

Danny- Nice Avatar, looks like we have something in common.
I would recommend to always check Freedom Travel (3455-8888). And ask for Sunny. They are located down the street from Lotte Hotel in downtown Seoul.
Two things to remember.
Always compare prices with 3 or more different agencies, and don't be afraid of leaving Itaewon to find good deals. Itaewon agencies may give good service and speak English, but they're rarely the rock-bottom cheapest.
Sometimes they might be, though. Who knows for sure... |

I did do a bit of shopping around with the usual agents such as Xanadu (sp?) and a few others, but Kangnam came back the cheapest - did'nt come across Freedom travel though - ah well!
So hows your Hapkido going? Just had the brown belt test - bit of a nightmare on the ho-shin-sul but managed to pass! |

I wish that was happening to me. I live in Busan and keep getting cheaper prices from Seoul agents particularly Joy travel but I keep paying the extra 20 or 30,000 at Kangsan for the ease of paying in person and walking out with ticket in hand. |

For folks in Gwangju:
I just booked my November trip home through Blue Bear Travel (dunno the phone # right now, but they advertise in the Gwangju News). They did a good job and speak reasonably good English. |
