Injured my back last week and am wondering where in Korea I should look for a lower back support cushion to use on the airplane. The trip is tomorrow, so please don't suggest the internet... I was thinking about looking in a drugstore -- husband suggested Carrefour, but I don't remember any section that had travel stuff. I also might be in the market for a blow up head support pillow thingy that some people use on planes. Anyone know where those can be purchased?
Thanks a lot! |

At the airport. Yeah, it sounds risky waiting till you're minutes away from takeoff, but I've seen them in one of the landside shops that sell other traveller's accessories. PM Swiss James or get some phone numbers for IIA off the Net and call around. Airlines themselves might have them on board, too. Maybe worth calling yours and asking.
(You put this on Q&A?! You might've waited days for someone to see it! ) |

How about just going to the pool section and getting a small blow up something there, an air pillow, or a small childs tube? |

Hey Guru -- well I limit myself to Q&A and Job forum. I don't trust myself on the other forums -- don't want to be an addict again!
Yeah, I thought the airport would be the one place I could certainly find one, but thought I would have to pay too much. Still, at this point in the game, it's the best bet.
As for using some other blow up object, well, I'm not sure how helpful that would be, and I sure would feel embarrassed having a useless child's PFD on board but I appreciate the suggestion anyway, teachingld! |
