Anyone know if I need one for just a few days visit?
Someone with personal experience please. I have tried googling but the government websites say different things. thanks.

Brits and other Europeans (and Koreans now) need no visa before arrival, up to 30 days then granted gratis.

Not sure about US citizens, I think maybe you have to go to the visa office at Taipei airport just before immigration and pay for it.

Canadians and Americans are fine as well when it comes to a short trip without a visa.
