I need an adaptor to convert 220v to 110v from North American plugs to the round russian ones they have here.

I've read posts before suggesting HomePlus and Yongsan electronics market. I need some specific directions. Yongsan is just way too huge for me and I can't find my way around. Are there any places in Itaewon? I'm willing to pay a little extra to save the hassle of searching all over the place.

Thanks!

Kyle

Can't help you Kyle, but this is something that I have been wondering about. I have a hair dryer that I bought in Hungary with a European plug - is that going to work in Korea???

Are electronics pretty cheap in Korea, or should I be stocking up on convertors and bringing my own? Do convertors work with everything?

Thanks,
Em

My friend bought an adapter at a local hardware store in Daegu.

I just got my parents to send a socket adapter out to me... I tried everywhere in Daegu to get one, but just had no luck.

You can get the adaptors from homeplus that swap the voltage, but that wasn't what I actually needed - my appliances were all correct voltage, but the sockets were all wrong (a mix of British and Australian, and Thai)
