I have a 3 year Arts degree, and i presume I got my E-2 with that, though I have also just acquired a teaching diploma - but graduations not till sep, so I didn't use that for my visa, as I haven't really got the legit paper work.

So I have no idea whats happening - I thought that as long as you were white, had a 3 year degree, and could speak english - you were sweet. Maybe they were just using the degree thang as some sort of an excuse to deny them???

I have a 4 year degree (honours) but it has yet to arrive in the mail.

My 3 year degree was fine... but then again the rules seem to change here depending on who you talk to.

I too have a 3 year degree and had absolutely no problems at all getting my E2 visa in Feb this year.

I think that a std degree from the US of Canada requires 4 years and many job posts are marketing towards North Americans, hece the 4 year degree "requirement".

I was here in 1990 and on the books it was a four year degree but not inforced. All it amounts to is that some western countries have a year less or more of high school and this reflects on the length of the Uni course. Koreans seem to have problems in getting around simple things like this.
