I'm looking for a new monitor to connect my laptop to. Would Yongsan be my best option or something like G-market, if Yongsan, then who or where would I find the best deal?
Thanks |

How would one without much knowledge whatsoever go about buying a decently priced desktop in yongsan?
I was thinking about a PS3, but a desktop sees so much more cost efficient and less of a hassle. I'd like to be able to run skyrim well, and D3 I suppose when it comes out, but other than that not looking for anything high end.
Where are the ready to go desktops sold at and what is the price range for a system with the kind of power I'm looking for |

Gmarket: You can not check the monitor before take it
Yongsan: You can choose the best one you like but you need to get there.
The prices almost are the same. |

Go to seon-in plaza (across the tracks from youngsan station and to the right of the blue building as you look across the tracks.
Prices are in man won (55 = 550,000 won).
Everything else is self evident (cpu = cpu, RAM = RAM, etc).
White boxes, built while you wait (about 30 minutes) with components as listed or as you choose (if you prefer a custom build).

i wish i saw this thread earlier
i went to seoul 3 times but only go to yongsan once
following the visitkorea website guide, out from station, walk straight
i reach the alot white fluorescent bulb market place.
I thought that was yongsan IT mall.
SHIT man. Somemore i bought an overprice samsung camera there.
Due to a lame trick used by the seller.
I always check danawa or gmarket price before i buy anything.
But because of this reason, I am being cheated to buy an overpriced camera.
The seller first show me a camera, and show me the gmarket price on his PC. Their price is almost same. It makes me believe that he is selling at cheap price. Then he introduced me another camera. The camera itself is very nice, with front screen view.
Then he offered me a price, this time he didnt check the gmarket price again. Because I already believed him. And I also dont have internet connection to check it myself.
Finally i bought the camera happily, and when i reach home, i found that it is overpriced by 50k compared to gmarket.
I learned my lesson. |

Does anyone have experience selling secondhand electronics at yongsan? My girlfriend and I have some electronic dictionary/pmp things that we don't use anymore, as we've upgraded to smartphones. These things are a bit hard to sell on buy/sell/trade or craigslist, but I've heard Yongsan has secondhand electronics somewhere. |

What's the story with Yongsan on Sundays? Up to date information is hard to come by. Still first and third Sundays most things are closed? Specifically, are Seonin plaza and video game alley likely to be in operation July 1st? |

Does anyone know a pretty good computer dealer here? I have a computer model in mind but want to go with a reputable dealer in case something goes awry. |
