2.1 million won

elem/middle

1-9/2-10pm

OT is 18,000 won

10 vacation days

10 foreign teachers

single housing

airfare supplied

How is this city? I generally prefer larger cities than 600k, but is it feasible to travel to Seoul on weekends without trouble?

How about Western food spots and bars?

Thank you in advance!

There is also that position in LCI Gangnam that I have been offered again.

2.2 million won however, which I dont though goes far in someplace like Gangnam. I love the location though.

Do you know the name of the school? I have been living in CheongJu for the last 3 years. It's a decent, if un-amazing city.

3 western bars that people reguarly go to. 3/4 drinking/eating districts. Expat soccer/rugby/baseball teams. Live mic every thursday.

Easy to get around. Easy to get to Seoul by bus, but a little difficult to get back sometimes (last bus is something like 11 or 12, first bus back is 6).

Good transport links to the rest of Korea.

If you need any more info just let me know. Also there have been a few CheongJu posts on here, you might want to do a search.

The city of Daejeon is near Chongju. There is a KTX (high spped train 300KM/h) going to Seoul. It takes about 50 min. So, no worries about getting to Seoul. Gangnam is cool but expectations are much higher = more stress/work for a newbie.
