...I'm coming from the U.S. What should I bring, considering the apartment is completely furnished? This will be my first assignment. Help the rookie please! This forum has helped me out a lot! |

Hi,
Bring a couple of bath towels, some soup packages, a couple of your favorite spices, condoms or tampons, (depending on your gender) and a pair of rose colored glasses.
Good luck,

This is what I did last time I came to Korea, I left a bit of cash behind with a reliable person (ie my mum) so that she can buy me things as I need them and ship them to me without her having to be out of pocket.

Daejon is a nice city, you will see lots of foreigners there. Just take some nice music, and a few books. Get a computer for starters once you are there.

yeah a computer is a really good idea. I set up a pc room in my house..
I have tonns of games with my wife's computer and mine networked, and a notebook for surfing the net in bed.
Some times we do not even have to leave our house on the weekends we just surf the net dl a new movie, play games, chat with family ect. |
