Got to love the Police state.

Were you looking at gay child porn or something. Or some Jihad crapola?

Funny stuff..."Please answer our questions!"..."The list of questions are attached."..."Yours faithfully".

You'd think if someone were trying to impersonate an FBI agent, they could do a more convincing job - at least use proper grammar and believable wording.

I'm very curious, though...what were the questions(!)?

Well, I have seen some dreadfully written letters from US govt departments but the giveaway here is use of the British "Yours faithfully".

Under what circumstances would a British citizen living in South Korea receive a letter from the domestic federal law enforcement agency of the US?

I think you'd better open it, you don't want any trouble with the FBI. Does it say anything about a $10,000 fine, and please send the money by way of Lagos?

No idea: maybe I'll find out next time I try and creep in under the radar at LAX.

Got the same thing this morning, which worried me for a bit as I DO do alot of "file transfers" and the like... Anyway, ran the IP and looked up somethings- Its from German (damn jerries), and used to be Symantec telling you that you needed to answer questions. When Dl'd it installs a nasty trojan.

Excellent idea. May I suggest holiday time? The civil servants are more civil at that time of year. May I offer some friendly down home advice? If you hear someone behind you shout, "Police! Freeze!", the proper response is, "Up yours, buddy!" It's California slang for, "Sure thing officer. What can I do for you?"

Damn, that brown smelly stuff you are in just got deeper: the VP kept for them the right to torture, didn't he?

Yes, he did. Not only that, he authorized some nifty new ones, too. They are in the experimental stage, so don't judge the new techniques too harshly. I'm sure they'll get more effective with practice.
