anyone know a good recruiter for schools in Kangnam???? |
Check out Dave's job board. Click on all the recruiters their. Most of them will have positions listed. Contact them about the Kangnam positions that look good.
Ask them about the contract particulars. You send them the documents.
Recruiters, since they work on a fee basis, are usually good about setting up interviews.
I've also used Patrick with ATC. He seems to be pretty good. He's usually advertising on the Korea Job Board. Find him there.

i've contacted some of the recruiters that post on the job board but i have had some trouble getting replies from them... this usually happens after i send my picture (i'm filipino canadian and i'm just speculating that my ethnicity is playing a factor here).
i'm looking for a school/recruiter that i'm not going to have this perceived problem with. |

Any updates on how things went getting a job? I have a Fil-Am friend who is curious about her teaching options. |

There are plenty of ESL teachers in Korea of Asian heritage. While it's true that some schools may still want the stereotypical blonde/blue eyed American, not all of us are so lucky. Have a look at ESL411.com or ASKNOW.ca, those are the two I recommend. One of them should be able to find you a job. Just keep trying and be willing to settle for a smaller city if you don't have any teaching experience. You can still have a great time. |
