92' Kawasaki Vulcan 500cc
about 50,000 miles
has a couple dents on the gas tank and the seat is a bit torn up, but the engine runs great.
when I bought it the indicators didn't work, but I had work done to fix that. I changed the drive belt once, and the usual maintenance and oil changes.
asking 800,000
serious offers can email me at [email protected]
there will be pics eventually |

Hey, that was my bike. I had that bike for two years. Haha, did you tell them that? Who needs indicators, that was what I thought.
Yes, so I had that bike for two years and never a problem. Not one frickin' thing went wrong with it, unlike subsequent bikes which I'm still doctoring.
Except the indicators, haha. |

Yeah, it's a great bike. The only real problem I had with it was the drive belt breaking, but that's because it was old and it was a generic belt cut off a strip. My mechanic ordered a genuine Kawasaki belt which I imagine will last for a long time.
By the way, the reason I'm selling is because I'm leaving Korea, not because anything is wrong with it. If I could, I would have shipped it back home. |

I can vouch for this bike. I had it for two years and got it from a teacher who left for Japan. In the two years I owned it there was no problem with anything. I changed the oil regularly and put another fork on.
I sold it to Dirty Sanchez because I upgraded to a 750 Virago (same year as this Vulcan, '92). Even though the Virago has more power for the long run (like highway cruising) the Vulcan has more than enough for long trips. And it's faster off the light. Because the Vulcan 500s engine is actually a racing engine.
This bike has a drive belt and not a chain. The genuine belt Sanchez put on will last a long time and is very expensive. |

Actually, the Kawasaki belt my mechanic ordered only cost 100,000won.
I also forgot to mention that the bike is in Asan, about 20Kms west of Cheonan.
email me if you wanna check it out

Am I crazy for considering buying a second motorcycle?
Does it have any papers? Any pictures of the actual thing? |

Umm, about the papers, you can ask Captain Kirk, caus I never got them. And I was too lazy to do a bunch of paperwork, so I just drove carefully and never got in an accident.
Shortly after I bought the Vulcan, I lost the plate that came with it. Either fell off or was stolen. So I put on the plate from my other bike. Got pulled over once, and cops ran the plate, and no problem, they just let me go. |

I'm already gone. I left the bike with a friend. Serious individuals who want to see/testdrive the bike, email me, then I'll give you my friend's phone number. |

Yo, Thailand's pretty damn hot. Sweatin' like a pig.
Just bumpin' this ad up for the spring motorbiking crowd. The bike's still for sale. Every reasonable offer will be considered.
This bike beats pretty much anything on the road in terms of acceleration. I'd roll up to sports cars at the red light and blow them away right off the green. This bike also has a lot of overtaking power, if you don't like being caught behind the sunday drivers. It's perfect for long trips and has no problem going up hills, even with a passenger on the back. |
