Get a friend to help you find one of the hand mixers from the TV Home shopping channels--ours is 도께비 made by boowon--they pretty much all metal (except the engine case) and do everything--blend, chop ice, mix, etc--and they pack way more power than any blender I've ever seen. It's seriously the most used appliance in our house.

I bought a blender from a 2nd hand shop a few months ago for 5,000w

Im not lying when I say "Its the best thing I have ever bought. In my life."

Im not selling it but I thought you could enjoy this wonderful story. I'll be doing a tour of the states soon and my publisher has told me that hollywoood are interested. It's a feel good story.

i'll check it out.

i was in a hyundai department store yesterday and checked them out.. the cheapest one was $50! no way i'm dropping that much.
