Much like my Taco Bell...I must have Jager!

Anybody know any liquor stores between Incheon and Seoul that carry my sweet nectar?

I have induldged the Meister in Itaewon, at the UN bar, not the club. Had a hard time getting home that night, my face kept dragging on the pavement.

Max,

I have a love of spirits, and this licorice divinity is REAL hard to come by. Koreans who sell it consider it a medicinal liqueur (don't we all!), but I've yet to see it in Itaewon. I bought one bottle in Namdaemoon in the 'black market' underground...but I haven't seen it there in a year's time. I accidentally ran into it while in a Korean liqueur chain called "Kaja." Maybe there is one near you.

If I see it this weekend on my shopping spree, I'll pick one up for you.

Forewarned, the last bottle (750ml) ran 48,000 won.
Cheers,

Ryst

My mission this weekend is to find some. I'll check out all those places you mentioned. Thanks again for the tips.

I may have to settle for some shots in Itaewon, but I live out in the sticks...I can always get a hotel, if I can make it through the doors.

I feel like I'm coming down off junk, I need my Jager! No worries about picking it up for me, I think half the fun will be the trek locating a bottle, the other half will be finishing it in one sitting.

Shots can be had at 3 Alleys Pub in Itaewon, as well. 3,000 won a shot. Hell, time permitting, I'll join you, since it's about the only liquor I can do shots with(along with tequila), but you'll drink me under the table.

Stick with me and you will be shooting paint thinner in no time. My goal this weekend is to find bottles for a departing teacher. I may take you up on that offer sooner than later, it gets strange living out here in the sticks.

I bought some jaegermeister at Jell Deli a while back. No guarantee they's have it now, though.

Jell is gone - the Deli closed, & the converted it to a wine shop/bar, FEI.

But, they still may be able to point you in the right direction.

Also, someone may want to contact grocerymall.net to see if they can/would stock some of our favorites.

Regards,

G.

Thought this deserved to revived, as I have found a place that sells Jagermeister for 25,000 won....as opossed to the rip-off prices I used to pay.

The area is in Songtan (Osan US Airbase), in the black market section.... there are several different stalls that offer spirits at G-awful low prices. I put a request for Goldschlager....we'll see.

Shoosh,

Ryst

Jaegermeister and goldschlager!!! That's going to be some session!

I in-distinctly remember shooting Jaegermeister with Zyzyfer in the 3-alleys pub, Itaewon. (shakes head sadly).
