Look if you and your boyfriend go down to Pusan and jump on the ferry to Japan and hand your alian cards in on the way out, then you are free of your current boss. You can be back the same day on a tourist visa on which you can look for a new job each.
Cost for the hydrofoil is 185,000 won for a return. Once you find a new job you will have to do a new E2 visa run to Japan.
