The hirers always want a diploma to prove you finished high school.

Diplomas are really klunky legal documents, transcripts are much better. They also specify if you graduated or not. Diploams cost $30.00 each. I think they the Koreans should accept these in lieu of diplomas. How do I make them do that?

You tell them, and then they laugh at you and point out that Korean Immigration requires your diploma.

Bad time to point out that to get an E2 visa for Korea, you need to have a university degree? Finishing high school won't qualify you.

I lost one of my diplomas overseas. When I got back, I ordered a new one from my university. It cost me $15, it took about 3-4 weeks to get, and it looks exactly like the original, signed and sealed and everything.

Call the registrar's office at your old uni and ask them what you need to do to get a replacement. At my uni, it was easy.

Well, you don't get a job if you don't flash a diploma. If that's not sufficient inspiration...

what's $15-$30 in the grand scheme of things. Especially if it gets you a job you want and like.
