That celadon festival sounds awesome - but too far to travel, just for one weekend. Does anyone know anything about the Lotus festival? like when, where, how i would get there etc. Muchos gracias.

Cool page. Thanks for the info.

There's a big festival in September being held around Seoul, Kyonggi-do and Jeju-do.

The dates are Aug. 28(??)-Sept. 4, 2003.

I hear this being advertised on Korea's Arirang TV.

Suwon's Korean Folk Village will be a major site as well as Dong-dae-moon Market and others.

This is more along the lines of a world expo. Many tourists will be in for this one.

There are many cultural events scheduled. Many performing arts events are on the docket as well.


More info appreciated.
