depends on the car,,,

but lets say you have a regular sedan,,

70-80.000 won for 350k's... so depends on how many k's you do a week.

insurance is about 700-1 million for full coverage..which of course you will want here...
regestration is about emm depends on car again.. but regular sedan..
its about 80-100 I think cant remeber.,., my friend who has a rexon pays only 50.000 cuz it has special priority or some thing...
then tires are about 50.000 each...
and oil change monthly or two 20.000 a time or refill 10.000 for 4 litres..

GAS is the killer!!
go for a desiel or LPG car.. less power but HEY!!

I drive a '93 elantra, insurance is about 700,000 for the year

Gas runs me about 60,000 won for 450 km

Repairs, nil... though the engine is making funny noises right now, and I am going t drive to the ka centa on my way home.

The subway sucks.... I can not go back to taking the subway day in and day out. Driving is much better.

I have to agree with kimcheecking.. once you drive you cant go back!
although I take the subways on Sundays now because I go to a place I no nothing about so its safer for me to not get lost etc.. and I have to say 2 years not being in the subway its a little different riding it,.. I get to see all the people again.. that can be fun.. ONCE A WEEK is more than enough though,., its never over crowded and its on a new line..so yeah.
NO more peak hours on the green line for me NO WAY!!

and the car is really good if you are sticking around areas you know..
I live in Bundang and car is FANTASTIC! couldn't imagine living without it
but hey im a lifer!
