It was happened ...
Here's my utterly scientific and rigorously factual account of what happened at the get together. And if you dissagree with me on any details, Zyzyfer knows I'll cap your ass without thinking twice ...
People I talked to ... [ "talked" in this case meaning stood face to face, exchanged some form of traditional salutation ( in the informal register ) and screen name ]
Gang Ah Gee
Zyzyfer
Denz
CLG
Waterbaby
Blue Flower
FierceInvalid
Rawiri
Katydid
Nicole
Lawertood
GaJackson
Rysthelmut
PeppermintKnob
Wombat
Bobster
I'm aware in the back of what's left of my mind ( and believe me, it was feeble BEFORE the tequila shots ) of some significant omissions, so revisionist historians feel free to step in ...
People who I wanted to talk to but didn't get a chance ...
Beckerson ( currently I don't have Beckerson, and I wanted to get
Beckersoned, but alas )
Buchon Bum ( Best poster on political topics, I'm sure he's interesting )
Wombat ( we did the two second salutation thing, but I was not satisfied )
Tiger Beer ( we've been having a Korean romance, we both love each
other but have never met or declared our love, at least it's
not "one sided love" )
SeoulTrader ( were you there? we need some quality kiss-and-make-up
time )
And with everyone that I did talk to, IT WAS NOT ENOUGH ...
After Yellow things were chaotic, and it didn't go well for me, got separated ... followed Gang Ah Gee into Matamata, and he promtly left again. And though the music was mildly "jacking" it was not Carl Cox, so I was reluctant to spend the evening dancing with myself ( I know it was good enough for Billy Idol, but this ain't the 80's ) when I went out everyone was gone somewhere else, so I wandered around drunkenly and ate some horribly salty fried street food. At this point I saw Gang Ah Gee's ex sitting with some friends and I called her pabo. I have no idea why, it was a spontaneous thing. And while I am sorry, I have admit it felt good! I think it was the glasses, you have to be Lou Reed cool to wear sun glasses at night, and she just wasn't cuttin' it.
At this stage I was about to go home, then I bumped into Waterbaby and BlueFlower who had come back for Waterbaby's wallet. So, joyfully re-united with part of the cohort I was back in the New York groove for the zen bar escpade. My head hit the pillow at 7am. I missed whatever dancing action there was and that bites. Next time I suggest that the i cha is designated pre get together, what do you think homies?
I met a lot of good people, it was grand. Some of you I'm not content to wait till next "do" to see. I will be taking affirmative action, so look out...
... it's like and like that ya'll ... |

I already remembered an omission from my utterly factual account ...
I spoke to Trinny, and was not dissapointed, she was as cool as her posts suggested, and better looking than her avatar ... |

Hey Kiwiboy,
I'm sorry I had every intention of coming but I went to the Moran market in Songnam and kind of had a crisis about all the boshintang, ended up taking home a dog who is still having a little trouble adjusting (puking on the balcony even as I type). I promise I'll be at the next one. And if I back out you can turn ME into soup. How's that sound....?
PS It does sound like you kept up the fine Southern Hemispherian tradition of pumping as much booze into your system as is humanly possible without killing yourself. Well done - I'm proud!

I was hoping to have a Mysterious Delta Rays experience but he was a no show.
Itaewonguy was missed.
Didn't see Lemon either.
All these people probably said they weren't coming but I didn't bother reading the thread.
Wombat is the most seriously good-looking lady I've seen in a long time! |

Exactly, next one should be soon, and in a place better for chatting ... then again, more funk would also have been good ... |

Because I am pedantic - that wasn't me, it was Crazy Lemon Girl, who actually wasn't being crazy last night. I guess coz there was no soju round. I am disapointed though that no-one screamed and ran off. Maybe next time. |

So we have to add you to the "clique" now? Shit.
I'll be in Seoul more often, since eamo is back in town and I've actually got phone numbers and initiative.

You learned your lesson the hard way. Never, ever follow a solo gang ah jee around. NEVER. You're lucky you made it out with your shoes. |
