I never said that they should be "kissing US butt". Far from it.
My sentiment was that to turn Independence Day into an Anti-American event is hypocritical because the US played a major role in defeating Japan.
We also must look carefully at what some of these groups are really about. Does Hanchongnyon really wish the South had fallen under Stalinist rule? My guess is yes. Naive or otherwise. |

I agree, the City Hall area was not good. I went there for the 1st time by chance. I saw a demonstration for those poor Korean girls who got kiled by the Yankees in the tank. I wanted to get the heck out of dodge. Even tho I am not American, they are none the wiser. |

And that isn't out of the goodness of their hearts ?
If North Korea has done nothing else, it has proven what a failure communism, in practice, really is.
Are you Korean Homer ? |

Why would I be Korean just cruzin?
Because I prefer a balanced view of things?
No one can honestly say the US and its UN allies intervened in Korea in 1950 out of "the goodness of their hearts"..come on now, thats just silly.
But, if you believe it, so be it, to each his or her own views and in this case delusions. |
