When you visit a doctor in Korea, is the information kept confidential? What about the health insurance companies? Do they notify your employer? |

Um....not particularly but it is becoming more of an issue these days. I had to have a physical exam and checked out fine. However, the medical report was sent to my school, vice principal, principal and nurse...sheesh. |

That is what I thought! Japan is just as bad about this. There is no such thing as privacy. |

When I had to get a medical to teach at the elementary school the results got sent to my employer. Not a copy, I did not even see my results, they were sent direct to the office. |
