goshiwons near korea university go for as low as 170,000 a month, and that includes a computer in your room (the only specs given were that they are p4s) |

Goshicrapwons would have to be a last resort for moi. I am NOT sharing a darn bathroom/shower with strangers. My dorm days are over and I didn't even like those for 2 years. My last 2 years, I stayed with the 'rents. |

Oh no! Isn't that super noisy and don't you have to hear people having sex? Gross! I hope you have earplugs. |

I got a buddy of mine coming to visit for a couple weeks. He doesn't need anything fancy, just a room with a bed.
Anyone know a place south of the river near Gangnam or Jamshil? |

Oh dear, aren't you special, who would have thought somebody out there doesn't need to save money on lodging.. and I had no idea that anyone would actually prefer to not use a shared bathroom if given the choice nice screenname btw! |

How do you find goshiwons? Are the listed in the newspaper classified ads? Are there ads at universities? Is there a website? |

Although this thread is an old one, here's a site I used last year. Will probably use it later this year as well, as I am planing about visiting Korea again.

How does the goshiwon paper contract usually work?
Actually, I have a roommate who is refusing to move out even though I moved into a different apartment and was the one who paid for the key money. When I get back to Korea from my vacation, if push comes to shove, I guess that I will forcibly move all of his things into a goshiwon, but of course, hopefully he will be more cooperative by then. |
