Free Book Exchange in Seoul~!
There is a free book exchange in downtown Seoul once a month on the SECOND SUNDAY. You can bring as many or as few books as you like and take as many as you want. We have a large selection but mostly novels - biographies and histories are in short supply. We'd love to see more of these genres.

The next exchange will take place DECEMBER 14th from 2 to 4 pm.

Please tell all your friends, co-workers, strangers, enemies - we don't care who comes so long as they bring a fresh supply of FREE reading material.

Directions follow:

Get off at City Hall Subway, take the exit leading to the British Embassy and walk past the first street on the left and take the 2nd. Walk up with the Church on your left and you'll see a driveway to a car park on the right. We are the next building on the right. You'll see signs on the windows about learning English. Go in and take the stairs at the back on the right - go up one flight and follow the noise around to the right.

If you are coming from the Gwanghwamun subway or the bus stops near the Sejong Cultural Centre or the American Embassy go to the Koreana Hotel, pass it and the driveway to their car parking and then take the lst street on the right and follow the directions as above.

I'll look forward to seeing you all if you can make it.

If you can't make this month but would like an email reminder of future events please pm me with your email address and I'll add you to the list.

This thread will be the sticky for announcements. Please post all announcements in this thread. Thank you~! --Noodle

Shark Diving At Busan Aquarium!

'Scuba In Korea' will be running shark diving trips at Busan Aquarium every two or three weeks. Divers and non-divers are welcome. Dive instruction will be provided for non-divers by Canadian and Australian dive professionals.

The fees (set by Busan Aquarium, NOT 'Scuba In Korea') are as follows:

Divers (with c-card): 55,000 won
Non-divers: 75,000 won (includes instruction)

To check out the date of our next trip, and for all the info you need on shark diving, check out our site at: www.scubainkorea.com

In addition to the shark diving, 'Scuba In Korea' acts as an information resource for foreign divers (and those that want to be) in South Korea. We know it is difficult to find a safe, reliable shop that provides service in English. We hope we can make it less difficult. If you have any info re: diving in Korea that you would like to share with us, we would be happy to post it so that other divers can benefit from your knowledge as well.
