Seriously, what is wrong with these people...and the Koreans on this board wonder why we complain about having a hard time in Korea.

'Koreans are natural-born semicon makers'

Despite a downturn in the semiconductor industry, the prospect for a revival is bright because "Koreans are born to be good" in the semiconductor sector, says an expert who has 41 years of experience in the chip business.

"While I was traveling around the world conducting semiconductor business for over 40 years, I realized Koreans are the smartest, most sophisticated and best educated people. They are just right for the semiconductor business," said HANMI Semiconductor chairman and CEO Kwak Noh-kwon

"But what I am sure of is that if we rule the semicon industry, we can rule the world, just like human's brain rules the whole body."

Hey, korea has done some smart things....

Freed themselves from Japan without a single bullet being fired
Held off the north koreans and strategically pushed them back,
saved themselves from the 97 financial crisis with no help from the IMF,
believed a freaky clone king who would never lie,
hired art professors who graduated from Yale in less than one year,
invented toilets that could be flushed with toilet paper,
invented the internet, the automobile, the phone, the airplane, the computer, and all ships and chips, and..............

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Woops, sorry, I was having a bad dream!

korea is like a little midget who likes to think he is big, until the real men come around. Wink

What the article failed to mention is that when he said "world" he meant it in the Korean sense, i.e. he went to Southeast Asia for a golf retreat over a 3-day holiday with a suitcase full of shin ramyeon.

Really? I find Korean fried chicken to be fatty, and the skin leathery. In short, awful.

That particular brain doesn't appear to have ruled that particular body with a sentence like that.

Still, given the Korean genetic predisposition for sucking at English, it hardly surprises the reader.

And just what is wrong with that tie? I bought one that appears to be just like it a few weeks ago in the subway tunnel in Jamshil. W3,000, I think.
