Hi!
I'm Alessandra, from Brazil!
I have a super-protective mother, sometimes I can't stand!!
I ask her to go somewhere and she wants to know everything about it, like if I was a child!
When I'm going to parties, sometimes she wants to talk with the mother or the father of the birthday girl/boy! Can you imagine!?
Is your mother a super-protective mother too?? plis tell me your histories.. |

Hi, Alessandra.
I'm Panagiotis from Greece.
I'm boy 14 years old.
In my family we are four brothers. My mother isn't enough protective.
This is perhaps happens because I'm boy.
But there are rules which are irrefrangible.

HI, Alessandra.
You don't worry for the mother's behavior.
She perhaps is so protective because she love you.

If you want to become freinds answer me and you contacts add

Hi Panagiotis.
Yes, I know that she loves me, more than everything I think, but she could be I little more cool, letting me do it more things, like sleep in my friends house, like all my friends do.
And I'm going to do 14 next month.
Nice to meet someone who lives in Athens! There it must be lovely..
My favorite sport is volleyball, but I like very much to watch football, at least when Brazil is playing. It's exciting!
I love listening to music, watching tv, chat on the net, talk on the phone, look my orkut (by the way, do you have??)
Yes, I accept you in my MSN.
But I think, because of the time we'll never stay at the same time..
But we can chat from here if it's ok for you..
bye.. |

Hello there!
Alessandra,
Parents make rules because they know what life is about more than we do, because they've lived more, haven't they? But as we're all humans, parents can also make good rules and bad rules. If you don't like the rules your mum is making, you should talk to her and you should always show that you're mature enough, so she can give you permission to do things she might have not considered yet.
Something very important is that even if you're turning 14 that doesn't make you an adult, don't try to go faster than time, because that's not possible and remember that if you live in your parent's house you should behave that way they expect from you. Though, that doesn't mean you should agree with everything they say. It only means you must make them happy before you make your own life. hehehe!
I'm 16 year old girl from Costa Rica, by the way. And I think my parents also make silly rules sometimes, but I know how to deal with them. My little experience says that you better try not arguing with them too loudly... lol
Bye bye!
Have a nice day!

hi Alessandra. Girls in your age think that they can save the world and that the parents are only disturbing them, I think that's why you think your parents are disturbing. (And not only girls, boys too.) I was also thinking like this when I was as old as you. Just do what you think is right at the moment.
However, parents are afraid that their children does anything wrong, we can understand that. _________________ If I say "I love you" to someone, then I also have to say "I also love everyone else inside you, I love the whole world because of you, I also love myself inside you." -- Erich Fromm, the Art of Love |
