How about making rock salt? All you need is table salt, water, and a way to heat the water. It makes a lovely white crystal.

It is good for health because it is anti-bacterial and makes a good disinfectant (rub it on your skin, wounds, or surfaces).

You need:

100ml water, 30 g alum (ask in local drugstore), measuring cup, 2 glasses, 1 spoon, 1 pen, 1 twine

You use the measuring cup and put 100g of warm water (~40 - 50 C) into a glass. Add alum and stirs until the alum resolves. Now you let the mixture cool down.
Bind the twine around the pen and put it ontop of the glass, so that the twine can touch the ground. Now you wait.
After some time you will see small crystals, pull the twine out of the glass, remove all crystals unless the biggest one.
Put the twine with the biggest crystal in another glass, fill that glass with the water from the first glass. If you put the glass inside a fridge, the crystal will grow faster.
Wait some days.

it'll look like this:

However with such a process you can build silicons, which is good for your bones to grow, but you need special machines to produce silicon crystals, otherwise, silicons look nice.

Silicon good for your bones? Sure, if you are a marine diatom. Razz Very Happy But for a human, you are better off with calcium. I'd recommend getting an ice tray, fill it with milk, cover it with clear saran wrap, taking toothpicks and poking them into the plastic wrap so they stand up, and putting it all into the freezer. After a few hours, you will have a crystals (frozen liquids are crystals). Remove the plastic wrap and you will have many little cubes with toothpick handles that are definitely good for your health. Very Happy

I think the easiest crystal that you could make in a very limited time would be the rock salt. It doesn’t need any expertise in chemistry and all you need is some common knowledge about heating and cooling.
