He Huas younger brother, Zhi Ming was born three years after her adoption. He was much luckier than sister and was raised by his own parents until age of 7.
The same as most of his compatriots at that time, he lost his parents and became an orphan in the same cursed massacre.
One of his uncles survived. He crept over a pile of corpses and found his little nephew was weeping under his dead Mum. He thought it was his duty to adopt him and then made him as an apprentice of his own.
In this way, Zhi Ming had learnt the skills of paper umbrella making from him soon.
In May, 1949, PLA (Peoples Liberation Army) liberated Nan Chang Town.
One day, he cheerfully jointed the army, then, came back to say good-bye to his uncle hesitantly.
Less than one year later, the Korean War was burst out and he had been sent to the battlefront.
He had fatally gone through fire and water until the summer of 1958, when all Chinese Voluntary Army had withdrawn from Korea.
He returned back to uncles home and got a surprising massage there. Uncle told him a coincident fact:
One day, a downpour suddenly befell. A young man ran to uncles shop for shielding.
He incidentally told him an odd story.
He was a KMTs orderly to serve a lieutenant. Since the troop was quartered in Xin Jian County for a long time, his boss became a regular visitor of local brothel, Peach Yard.
He soon fell in love with a prostitute. As she told the lieutenant, she had a miserable childhood and was deserted to someones counter immediately after her birth. Parents left her nothing but a lotus leaves package, thats why she named He Hua by her foster parents.
rating, his boss brought He Hua to Gan Yue County and accommodated there. After a while, the troop was driven to Gan Zhou and almost wiped out there in a fury fighting, only the little orderly escaped and had a lucky survival.
This story largely encouraged Zhi Qing to start an arduous journey to find his long-lost sister.
With tears, Zhi Ming completed his quaint story, which made Xi Hua and her husband deeply in touched.
Then, he turned back to wipe his face and did his utmost to have his emotional recovery. After a while, he spoke again: Xi Hua, said he,Pls. do me one more favor. I need your help again to find my sister. She had disappeared again and had no any news at all since last year.
Then, he revealed a fact that no one else knew.
