Hello,

my New Year's Resolutions are:

- improve my English much more (I want to be able to have a spontaneous English dialog with every person)

- I will try to sleep more (during the last time I slept just about 5 hours a night)

- I want to pass my final exam in spring/summer

Greetings,
LeBron

I have thousands of resolutions... a few of them follows:

- Learning Spanish by my own (not that difficult, it's very simillar to my mother tongue);
- Stop drinking so much coffe (5 cups will be my limit);
- Lose weight (I'm 65kg now, I'd like to be 63 kg. I know, too heavy for a lady, but I'm 1.73 cm - when I was weighing less than 63, people at the office started to ask if I was going anorexic).

Hey ClarissaMach,
how much cups do you drink at the present, if 5 cups are your target? Wink

I'm not sure, but I drink about 15 cups a day.

Once I made a kind of test to take note about how much coffe I would drink along an entire day, and I found out that I was drinking almost one liter a day (900ml to be more accurate).

Sounds incredible?

Think of a person who

- drinks coffee before leaving home, at breakfast (2 cups usually);

- that by the time she gets to the office, drinks around 3 or 4 cups just in the morning;

- that drinks another cup right after lunch;

- that drinks other 3 or 4 cups along the afternoon;

- and that by the time she gets home drinks another cup right before going to bed? (yes, for coffee no longer affects my sleep...).

If for some reason I do not take coffee at all along a day (recently it happend: I left home to early in the morning, without taking breakfeast, and went to a place where there was no coffee), I get terrible headaches...

Wooow 15!!! I guessed about 8-9......but 15 Shocked damn...so much.
No I understand that you set a limit by yourself Very Happy

In my case I mostly have a hard start into the day, if I drink no coffee in the morning. During the day (at school and even at work) I don't need badly coffee. But if I come home again I fall in tiredness if I don't drink at least 1-2 cups.

I guess you drink black coffee. Maybe you could stretch it with some milk?! In this way maybe it would be easier for you to drink less coffee, but the same number of cups nevertheless. Maybe a good physical effect Wink

Well, pouring a little bit of milk might do some good... but to tell you the truth, I don't like drinking milk... Sad

Holy smoke! It seems you'd be spending all your time on the toilet when you were not downing more coffee! Wink

Ah, caffeine withdrawal. Nasty. When my wife switched to decaffeinated tea while she was pregnant, she also got headaches. She was SO happy when she finally gave birth, she could have regular coffee and tea again.

Do you have a plan to reduce your caffeine intake? Like alternate cups of caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee to adjust your addiction dependence?

what? push up for 100 times? that's crazy, isn't it? Don't be so hard on yourself. unless you really enjoy the push-ups Very Happy

Here is my resolution.

1. Lose weight of 5 kg. I am 55kg, 160cm. a little chubby for Asian women. I know skinny women can drive men sexually crazy. In order to drive more men nuts, I am gonna do my best to lose 5kg. that'd be fun. Laughing

2. Spend more time with my daughter. Sometimes I am careless. I haven't read too much into my little girl. I would love to do my best to know more about her, her thoughts, her growing pains, her happiness,etc.

3. Try not to fall over from the seat-typed toilet anymore. When I go to a public toilet, and if this toilet is the seat type, I have to get on the toilet seat and squat on it. Unfortunately, I have fallen over from the seat a few times. That's quite dangerous. I will try to avoid it.

4. Try not to buy that large number of bras. when I go shopping, if I see some pretty stylish bras, I would always buy them. That's certainly a bad habit. so many bras are actually useless, and that's a pure waste of money.

Spend more time with my parents.(I am going to the college and at that time I will leave them.)

Prepare for the college extrance exam.(It is really a boring thing,but I have to!)

Lose some weight.(I am so fat and short that I cannot buy the clothes which I want very much.)

Do more exercise and build my body.(Poor health has almost driven me crazy!)
