If you like walking in forests or even in long grass you need to be careful of ticks. They are small animals like little spiders but are only 2-3 millimetres long. They climb up your body and find somewhere nice and warm and then start drinking your blood. That is not very nice, but the bad news is, they can carry some very nasty diseases! If you want to know more about ticks, I have a some photos on my website. Have a look at http://www.jeremytaylor.eu/tick.htm
I have been told many ways to get rid of a tick. What do you do when you have a tick (or your dog has one)?
