Hello there. My name's Perla, and my favorite hobbie is reading Manga. I just finished with Rurouni Kenshin, I saw the anime, but I was disgusted when I finished the Manga, because Rurouni Kenshin lost its greatness when they turned the Manga into Anime. And it's not the only one, so if you like to read manga to, I'd like to invite you to this site, which I enjoy very much, so you can enjoy it as much as I do (:

Yes, what is it exactly? I looked online and it seems to be like a comic book. Is that correct? What is the difference between a comic book and Manga?

Manga is a Japanese comic book usually printed in a normal paperback style instead of a magazine format. It is almost always done all in black and white. It is also different in that it reads from right to left in order of traditional Japanese text so even if you get read it in English everything is backwards. I read a lot of it myself.
