I am Japanese but sometimes I hate being Japanese. Compared to European people we are Japanese, very shy and we don't say our feelings directly to the person. We often get into groups, we follow trends. In Japanese schools we have so many rules to obey. In the city we have very little nature and a lot of buildings. Everyday we are rushing to something that is stressful. I try to see good sight of Japan but I cant find any. So if you can tell me good things about my county, I might like Japan. |

Japan has the largest middle class as a percentage of the population of any country on earth. Japanese have extremely long life spans. Japan has the 2nd largest economy in the world. Japanese perfected the use of kaizen, just in time and total quality management to help companies operate more efficiently. _________________ A future English teacher from California. |

Hi!! I am Japanese too. I can understand what you feel about Japanese people because I thought that same thing before But now, I love our country and very proud of I am Japanese. I stayed England for a year and before I went to there, I didnt like Japan. But I found so many good thing of Japan. For example, if you went to England, you can see loads of Japanese cars; like TOYOTAs. And also you can see many electrical appliances stuff; like HITACHIs TV. You should proud of that Japanese has high technology. I know we should change some part like you said Japanese is shy or dont have much natureand also I think political things. But I think every country have each problems and also have each good parts like we have Dont you think?
Anyway, excuse me for using England for examples. But I love England and I dont mean England doesnt have high technology |

Hello! I am Japanese colleage student. I also think nature around me is small. But I want you to see around with straining your eyes.
For example When I go to school in this morning with passing an avenue of ginkgo, I feel the cycle of the seasons.
Lately I like watching the evening sun. It`s beautiful!!
If you live in the city, you can find good things in our country.

yes. Japan is by far the most far advanced in technology that is available to the public. Unfortunetly, the over crowdedness of the country tends to turn people off to the Japanese. But those who don't see the beauty of your country, shouldn't be looking for it. They should be looking for a way to remove their heads from their anus. _________________

Yes, Japan is a beautiful country. Unfortuantely, I was only there in Tokyo and didn't have much opportunity to tour the country. However, I hope to return to the country someday and take the opportunity to see more of Japan. We have a student exchange program here with Japan. Many of our students who travel there return telling of the wonderful experiences they had there. |

Konnichiwa. I am American, but I love Japan and know alot about it.
To me, Japan is the most intersting country in the world. In the north you have snow and all that. In the south, you have more tropical type climate so there is nice beaches down there. Tokyo is like the largest city in the world. Japanese people are the nicest I have ever met. Japan has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Yet, some of the coolest people. Night clubs galore. I find the fashion amazing. Especially Hirajuku, Tokyo. The gothic people make it like your in a damn cartoon.
Horray for Nihonjin hospitality! |

well...Maybe most of you love Japan? In the past, I did also have these kind of thoughts, thinking everything related to Japan are wonderful. No doubt to say, Japan is a very powerful country especially for it's economy. I really admire the hard-working attitute and the preciseness of Japanese, especially the predecessors after the terrible period of World War the Second. However, nowadays Japanese new generations are not performing as good as before. They spend too much time enjoying apart form hard-working. Anyway, Japn is a legend. There are still many things for us to learn from it. Japan is a good learner, learning from others and even exceeding others. That's your pride. Thank you! |
