Have you read "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson? What are your opinions about it?

I like it because it is very interesting.The author was unhappy and a fragile sense of identity thus short story is pathetic , bizarre ... Smile

i like this story.the author's mood was interesting and very painful.the end of the story made my hair stand on end. Shocked

I think the lottery is very boring.I don't like bad tradition so I didn't like it.Also I am very sad for Tessie.. Crying or Very sad

I like The Lottery because this story reflects the author's mood.The end of the story is very amazing. Razz Razz Razz

I read the story, The Lottery some time back, and I din't like that much. The story is very weird and I didn't even complete he book. I guess it's still in my shelves, and from a long time.
