According to a Language Travel Magazine survey, here are some of the things students do not like about language schools:

1) Too many students from my country
2) Classes too large
3) Too many students from my language group

Another common issue among language students was students not practicing English outside of the classroom. This was especially true for students in large cities where it was easy to find stores where the student's native language was spoken.

Accredited teachers with degrees and/or TESL/TEFL/TESOL
training
Excellent curriculum
Convenience and flexibility to work with your life's schedule.
Comfortable learning environment
Welcoming attitude
helpful and friendly
If you can hear about the school's reviews from other students, that is helpful too - sometime you can find that online on the internet

I do classes with http://esl.acesquaredtraining.com/
I have asked about the teachers education and training and about what I am going to learn. You can work at your own convenience because the classes are online.

You can try joining Facebook English learners on http://www.facebook.com/Esl.acesquaredtraining or find an English language teacher at www.esl.acesquaredtraining.com - I use it and you don't have to worry about big class sizes.

Thank you! Very Happy Very Happy

I think the number one thing to look for is good teachers, or schools that put a high emphasis on choosing good teachers. Small class size is also a huge plus, as you will better be able to access help when you need it. Living in student housing with students of different nationalities also helps.

Hi

Choosing the right English school is a big decision, and not everyone is looking for the same experience. While some people want the charm of a stand-alone school, others like the security of a bigger education company. There is also the choice between staying local and studying in an English-speaking country. Those are decisions only you can make, but there are some things you should always consider.

Visit the following link for more inforamtion http://www.kaplaninternational.com/resources/choosing-english-school.aspx

Thanks
