I am Tofayel, a young Bangladeshi. I have recently been admitted to graduate school and I believe it is because of the excellent assistance that I had putting my statement of purpose together by a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from the Developing World to be accepted into graduate programs.

| Your personal statement should be exactly that — personal. This is your opportunity to tell about yourself — your hopes, ambitions, life experiences, inspirations. I always encourage everyone to take your time on this assignment. Be open. Be reflective. Find your individual voice and express it honestly. |
