Dear teachers,
Would you please tell me what is the past version of this sentence?
"If students are well prepared / have well prepared for their exams, they have / will have nothing to fear."
=
"If students were well prepared / had well prepared for their exams, they had / would have had nothing to fear." ?

The first sentence should be "If students are well prepared for their exams, they will have nothing to fear.
The second would be "If students were well prepared for their exams, they would have had nothing to fear." from the choices you gave, but I would prefer
"If the students had been well prepared for their exams, they would have had nothing to fear." |

Is it also correct to say:
"If students prepare well for their exams, they will have nothing to fear."
