Hi! Teachers.
When I was reading an English novel, I met expressions of which I couldn’t understand the meanings. I would be happy if you could help me.
In the novel, a woman met a man for the first time in years.
"his hair, streaked with iron now, was longer than she recalled, it was still barely more than a bullet-cut."
Does this sentence -"streaked with iron" mean he got older and got gray hair? What is "bullet cut" ? Is this a kind of hairstyle? Is this a short hair style like crew cut?
Could you tell me? |

Sorry, I am not sure either. I googled "bullet cut hairstyle" and it looks like a very short haircut style. I don't know why iron would be gray, but it makes sense. |

Thank you very much for your answer, Lorikeet.
Anyway, It must be a very short haircut style.
Bullets have no hair. |
