I just started out in marketing and would like to know more about SEO. I know that SEO stood for search engine optimization. And I knew that the better your SEO was, the higher you would rank on search engines. There’s a lot I didn’t know and I have questions but wasn't sure who to ask for clarification.
I would like to ask what’s the difference between organic vs. paid results? What are meta descriptions and do they still matter?

SEO is a bit of a specialised subject, not only because it's difficult, but also because it's changing all the time, and I mean all the time.

When it comes to Google or Facebook SEO is best left to the professionals otherwise you can waste a whole lot of time and money.

Organic search is where someone wants to find out something and searches in a search engine like Google for it. Paid search is the little adverts that are at the top of your search results. Unless your SEO is very good, you won't be found by organic search.
