What does ‘I’m gon’ show your ass today.’ mean?
Sorry to ask about such a rude line.
I met this line in a gang movel, but couldn't understand the meaning well. Does this speaker threaten someone with physical violence? Could you tell me the meaning?
The man who was told this line was frightened and shot the speaker with a gun. So I thought it was very scary words like "I will kill you".
Am I right?

I'm not even sure exactly what it means, but I think you got the meaning right. "gon'" is "going to". I don't speak fluent gang English  Maybe someone else will know exactly.
I looked it up in the Urban Dictionary http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=show%20your%20ass
Not sure if it hits the meaning there, but it's a good place to look for those kind of things you don't understand. |
