Dear ESL experts:

Is it "to WITHDRAW a product from the market" or "to TAKE a product OFF the market"?

If both are possible, do they mean the same thing?

If not, when should I use each of them?

Would you please give me a few examples?

Thank you.

To me they are both possible and mean the same. Perhaps someone else will have a different opinion.

I agree with Lorikeet, they both mean the same thing. I would also say that withdraw is formal, while taking smth off is a phrasal verb and so informal.
