I cannot make what he means by this saying. Please help me.

Every noon as the clock hands arrive at twelve, / I want to tie the two arms together, / And walk out of the bank carrying time in bags. -Robert Bly, poet (b. 23 Dec 1926)

Poetry is often difficult to decipher! I'm sorry I'm not very good at figuring out poetry, so I'm not sure what it means either. However, I did google it and found the whole poem at http://voetica.com/voetica.php?collection=2&poet=647&poem=6959 The title is "Wanting to Steal Time" so maybe that will give you a clue.
