#1. Jack told me he had enough money, and he could buy it.
#2. Jack told me he had enough money, and that he could buy it.
#3. He told me the sun had set, and the stars were out.
#4. He told me the sun had set, and that the stars were out.
Which sentence is more grammatical?
Are #1 and # 3 grammatically wrong?
Thank you. |

First, I would remove the commas. Second, I think they are all possible, but I'd rather put the "that" in the first sentence if you want to use it.
(He told me that the sun had set and the stars were out.) but it's also okay without the "that". |
