#3. He told me the sun had set, and the stars were out.

Which sentence is more grammatical?
Are #1 and # 3 grammatically wrong?

First, I would remove the commas. Second, I think they are all possible, but I'd rather put the "that" in the first sentence if you want to use it.
(He told me that the sun had set and the stars were out.) but it's also okay without the "that". |
