I think it means "its not true"
but I am not good at english just wanted to see if I am right.

'It is too good to be true' means that something is so good or pleasant that it is hard to believe that it is real. It is often used in a somewhat negative sense.
Let's look at an example: imagine someone offers you a job. You have to work 4 hours a day and you are going to earn $1,000,000 a month. You accept the job (of course) but then discover that it is all a lie, illegal and immoral. You would say, "I thought it was too good to be true." |
